“We walked together and walked alone. We had a remarkable journey. Beyond the geological histories, what a mysterious and magical thing it is to meet a friend on the mountain, only to meet again on the same mountains thousands of miles and an ocean away. I packed my camera and made a number of photographs on 35mm film during the trek, and I'm glad I had it to document these beautiful places and beautiful friends.”
